for the design and development of an Extranet for parents.
The first phase of this project involves the distribution of student
progress reports and report cards through a secure, password-protected
area of the Web site.
Authorized faculty members will upload report documents to the Web server,
and registered parents will receive automated e-mail notifications when
their children's reports are available.
In addition to having designed and built Eaton's public-facing Web site,
nSiteful has created a number of Intranet modules for the institution,
including a staff directory and homework assignment system.
The Extranet application is expected to result in significant cost savings
for Eaton and time savings for Eaton personnel, while giving Eaton parents
a simple, convenient and timely way to obtain student reports.
