Go ahead: tweet what you eat; it may clear you of criminal charges

This New York Times story (free NYT account required to see the story) tells how Rodney Bradford, a suspect in a robbery, got the charges dismissed after the district attorney reviewed evidence that Bradford was posting "Where are my pancakes?" on his Facebook page at the time of the robbery.

Whether this alibi is bona fide or not (one can log into another's Facebook account, after all) may never be known.

I'll bet we'll see a Law & Order episode about this soon.
