Though Jake Cohan hasn't chosen to follow in his old man's footsteps when it comes to computers and Web design, the son did pick up a few tricks from the father on the guitar — and then some.
Having grown up listening to Dad strumming and picking his old Yamaha dreadnought, Jake decided at the age of 12 to try it himself. After a few basic lessons in chord formations and flat-picking technique, Jake took off on his own.
Jake's eclectic musical influences range from the likes of The Band, Dylan, The Allman Brothers, and The Grateful Dead to Ween, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Bob Marley, and the Talking Heads, with some Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck thrown in. And then there are the acoustic musicians like Doc Watson, Dan Crary, Tony Rice, Norman Blake, Steve Kaufman, John Carlini, Russ Barenberg, David Grisman, Sam Bush, and Bela Fleck.
These days, Jake divides most of his playing time between his acoustic Taylor guitar and his mandolin.
In the fall of 2007, Jake invited some Athens, Georgia musician friends to play a special set at a North Georgia river outpost, and that assemblage of musicians became 3 Foot Swagger, a band of which Jake remained a member through early 2009. Currently, Jake is based in Alpharetta, Georgia and is a member of the most recent incarnation of The DustUp.

That's how Vicki Richardson, the Lollipop Chef, introduces Web-site visitors to her unique Lollipop Brownie creations.
Available in six flavors — and full of delicious fudge, Lollipop Brownies are made from premium, fresh, all-natural ingredients. These Lollipop Brownies make great gifts, arranged in either a tastefully decorated box, a ceramic clay planter, a wooden bushel basket, or the signature "Breakup Box" — a dramatically packaged gift box tied with a sheer organza black and red bow, inside of which, surrounded by black and red tissue paper, are six heart-shaped Lollipop Brownies decorated to look like broken hearts and a Voodoo doll for casting good spells to heal the heart or hexes to get even.
Vicki arrived at her envied Lollipop Brownie recipe through trial and error. She explains, "I added and subtracted ingredients to and from a traditional brownie recipe. By heightening the taste with extra chocolate and a hint of cinnamon, I gave my brownies a deeper, richer flavor."
Prior to founding The Lollipop Chef in 2008, Vicki's former job titles include actor, producer, bartender, caterer, children's party planner, writer, law school dean's fellow, litigator, and Peace Corps volunteer.
As with so many of our valued clients, Vicki found nSiteful via a referral.
In October of 2009, nSiteful and Lollipop Chef completed Phase Two of the project, adding a customized online store to the site, including integration with the FedEx Web Services Rate Services module.

SonickDMD.com is the Web site for Fairfield County Implants and Periodontics, the practice of Michael Sonick, DMD and Debby Hwang, DMD.
Drs. Sonick and Hwang have received extensive post-doctoral training in implant surgery, bone grafting, cosmetic reconstruction and periodontics. In addition to maintaining their preeminent clinical practice, they also direct a dental implant teaching center, publish journal articles, and lecture across the United States and around the world.
Their state-of-the-art facility employs digital x-rays, digital cosmetic photography to achieve the most esthetic outcomes, computer imaging, medical-grade CT scans, sterile treatment suites for infection control, and electronic insurance submission for faster claim processing.
Dr. Sonick's twenty-five page CV is testimony to his eminent qualifications as a renowned educator, author, and clinical researcher. Sonick Seminars, the training series which Dr. Sonick developed and conducts for general dentists, specialists and adjunct dental team members, provides hands-on learning sessions and lectures on essential periodontal procedures.
The goal of the Web-site redesign project was to communicate the full breadth of services offered by the practice; to complement the high quality of patient education and patient care services regularly provided by the staff; and to market the much sought-after educational offerings of the Sonick Seminars training program.
