Lessons In Your Home
Visit site: http://lessonsinyourhome.net/
Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, pianist Jay Maurice began his professional music career upon arriving in Atlanta in 1996. Earning a reputation as a solid solo and group performer, he started teaching piano in 1997. Teaching became his new passion, and Lessons In Your Home was born.
Jay's team of professional music instructors teach just about every musical instrument in existence — as well as composition, music education, and music therapy — to students ranging in age from 5 to 75 in six U.S. cities (and counting).
Lessons In Your Home teachers come to your home. Jay explains:
"Throughout the years we have come to believe that our lessons are most appreciated in your home. Unlike some room at a music store, your home is naturally nurturing. The teacher feels more like family than a teacher. Your home becomes a conservatory, and the student becomes a part of our family."
Lessons In Your Home is also active in schools, offering after-school programs as well as in-school instructors to supplement schools' music faculties. The company's Little Music Makers program is designed for pre-schoolers, with a curriculum that includes singing, listening, and playing.
The company's philosophy is that you're never too young — or old — to learn how to play a musical instrument.
Jay Maurice and Jeff Cohan first "met" and had their first discussions about a Web-site project in 2005. Five years later — almost to the day — Jay contacted Jeff to discuss a redesign of the LIYH Web site in earnest.

From the Web site: "Eaton Academy, a SACS accredited academic institution, provides a wide range of programs designed to help individual students achieve their academic goals. These programs vary in their student-to-teacher ratio, schedule of classes, and type of resources. Students benefit from using required personal laptops and interactive classroom software, as well as wireless and on-demand video technology. Ranging from the K8 and High School programs with their traditional full-day approach to the completely individualized course offerings of the Independent Study Program, Eaton Academy has education solutions for every mind, every age."
Located in Roswell, Georgia, Eaton Academy is truly exceptional, both in the quality of education it offers and in its approach to accommodating the diverse range of educational needs of its students. Visit the Web site to learn more, and be sure to watch the Eaton Video, produced by 8 time Emmy Award-winning former news anchor Rich Noonan.
This project also encompassed the design and development of a suite of Intranet Web applications. Authorized staff members utilize the Intranet applications to maintain the staff directory and update student homework assignments.

S & J's Woodfired Pizza

Sarah (the "S") and Jonathan (the "J") are extreme pizza lovers who entertained the dream of opening up a pizza restaurant some day. Jonathan is a great cook who makes homemade pizza and pasta on a regular basis; Sarah is a former Mellow Mushroom store manager with, in the words of a pro, "some serious pizza-tossing skills".
The obstacles associated with opening up a bricks and mortar restaurant were imposing. Then they learned about a Colorado company which offers custom-designed portable woodfired pizza ovens and business consulting for mobile pizza caterers. Sarah and Jonathan performed their due diligence. They soon realized that the mobile pizza catering route would be the perfect incarnation of their dream. And they took all the necessary steps to get the business off the ground — including engaging nSiteful for Web development. (Actually, the sales call went something like this: "Okay, Dad. Jon and I are ready for you to do the Web site.")
The business' Web site is a Libra project with nSiteful. nSiteful set up the site hosting, installed and configured the WordPress infrastructure, and conducted numerous Web conferences with Sarah and Jonathan to give them the training they needed to get cooking with the site. nSiteful also performed several customizations to extend WordPress' core functionality.

Bridal Sense

Nancy Culotta carries on the family bridal tradition with her lovely bridal shop in the Sandy Springs section of Atlanta, Georgia. She even brought her mother out of retirement to be her partner!
Nancy has known for a while that her business would benefit from a Web site, but she was overwhelmed by much of what she'd been hearing from other Web firms. In October of 2001 Nancy contacted Jeff Cohan, and Jeff was able to answer her questions and help her understand the breadth of options available to her.
Offering "New & Once-Loved" wedding apparel, Nancy wanted a Web site that reflects the same vision that has guided her in the development of her business. "Mission accomplished!" she told us.
